Wow, has it been a week!
I am sad to say I have experienced my own version of the Tinder Swindler, version 2.0 the Bumble Bamboozler!
I was swindled by a man from London, who seemed nice, but boy was I wrong! Not only did he try to take advantage of me, he turned out to be a con artist and tried to con my boss, friend of a friend and his friends!
Don’t worry everyone, I am safe and sound! I am mentally a bit shaken up and shocked that this happened to me, but all good otherwise! However, things did not end as well for him… I’ll let you read more about the encounter for yourself here.
I have no words, this could happen to anyone and there really is no way to verify a first date. You just need to look out for things that seem odd and go with your gut. There were a few red flags I noticed and thankfully I listened to my gut and did not let this go too far.
That being said, if anyone has any vetted or referrals of eligible bachelors for me to date, please let me know!
