What a whirl wind it has been — I’ve been out at events leading up to the start of the US Open all week. This was my week in a nutshell
Wednesday: IHG US Open Kickoff Party
Thursday: Taste of Tennis
Friday: Fan Week at the US Open & Chase Sound Stage featuring DNCE
Saturday: Fan Week at the US Open
While it was a bit exhausting, I wouldn’t change any of it and happy I took it all in. I’m so happy that the US OPEN is BACK and NY is taking it all in!
This year I had the pleasure of attending Taste of Tennis at Cipriani 42nd Street, which is a fun event for the tennis pros to come and eat a lot of delicious foods from restaurants throughout the city.
If you’re a tennis fan AND a foodie, this is definitely the event for you!
The event was a lot of fun and had a variety of food and drinks and even featured a cook-off between Nick Kyrgios and Naomi Osaka! Some of the restaurants feature included: Portale, The Lambs Club, Amrina & La Newyorkina.
On the red carpet with Style Music TV, I interviewed a few of the pros playing at the US Open. A fan favorite amongst the players was pasta and sushi!
Taste of Tennis is a lot of fun, if you get the chance to go, I would definitely go!
Congratulations to the Super Bowl Champions the Tampa Bay Buccaneers & MVP Tom Brady!
And I must commend The Weeknd on a phenomenal half time performance!

There are so many ways to support our Veterans, one of my favorite organizations is the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). WWP a non-profit focused on helping veterans and those serving in the military who have incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military. WWP provides programs to support
Mental Health
Financial Wellness
Physical Health
Peer and Community Connection
I had the opportunity to get to know many soldiers, primarily through college debate competing against West Point cadets and from working at the US Embassy in the Bahamas where I was able to work very closely with a few branches of the military, many of which I now consider to be big brothers to me. Having been so close to all of these amazing people gives me that much more respect for all that our military does.
I cannot be grateful enough for all that you do, thank you!

I would love to join the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit family and all the amazing things they stand for - diversity, inclusion and women empowerment.
I have always tried to push myself to be the best I can be and to break barriers and stereotypes. For example, I feel that I bring beauty and brains, earning my MBA at 22 years old, I was one of the youngest, if not the youngest in my graduating class, and currently work at a Fortune 50 company. In addition to doing this, I also won the title of Miss NY despite being asian and petite, which is not the typical standard.
I hope that by joining the rookie class this year I can encourage other women believe in themselves. You can do anything you set your mind to and not to be afraid to take a risk and go for your dreams!
Keep your fingers crossed for me!
